Makenzi Hogan Grau is a multidisciplinary creative based in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida where she lives with her husband and two dogs, Wilson and Gus.

She began her career as a freelance writer in 2012 before moving into brand storytelling for fast-growing start-ups. Start-up culture offered a practical education in visual communication, brand development, and strategic design — skills she later applied to her own boutique marketing studio.

After years of working with small, mission-driven businesses and lifestyle brands, Grau has re-oriented her focus. It’s a quieter, more considered pace predicated on creative alignment and shared values. The work is varied in form but consistent in intention: storytelling.
