WEEK 50
CLOSET
CROPPED BARN JACKET // The classic J.Crew Barn Jacket but cropped for short petite ladies.
THE COSIMA NAP DRESS // From the Hill House Almost Fall collection.
LA BOXER // Very here for the boxer/pajama trend.
WOODBINE GREEN RILEY CASHMERE CARDIGAN // Chartreuse has me in a chokehold and I love it paired with navy.
MINI FAUX LEATHER TOTE // An easy tote in a autumn-approved color.
APOTHECARY
ADRIATIC MUSCATEL SAGE CANDLE // Flamingo Estate makes truly great candles and this is my current favorite scent.
MANUKA RICH CREAM // The scent reminds me a little of weed, but the hydration is hard to beat.
DETOX SHAMPOO // Admittedly, I know very little about hair. And what I do know is ultra-specific to very fine, very straight hair that’s never met a heating tool it can’t render utterly pointless. That said, I do know my shampoos and love all things Ouai, especially this Detox Shampoo. I use it once a week.
ROSEMARY SERUM // Excited to try this hair serum from Nécessaire. Love the scent of rosemary and really love the promise of thicker, fuller hair. Will report back.
NO. 09 VALLEE DE FARNEY PERFUME OIL // Maison Louis Marie scents in roll-on form. Dreamy, but worth reporting that I’ve found the perfume iterations of Maison Louis Marie fragrances are really sensitive to individual skin chemistry and take on really individualized scent profiles. I’ve also noticed that you can reapply frequently without the scent becoming overpowering.
KITCHEN & ENTERTAINING
PARTY TUMBLERS // Obsessed with these Zafferano tumblers. I own three sets, including the blue, because Zafferano’s distributor kept sending me the wrong colorway and never asked me to return the incorrect orders. ‘Twas a lovely little mixup for me.
HOME
1972 VINTAGE ABSTRACT ART // While my budget for art is relatively limited, I still try to support artists and buy original pieces and prints (rather than mass reproductions from Home Goods or Target) wherever possible. Etsy and Chairish are great places to do this.
FALLON COVERLET // Adds a little global interest to the bedroom.
SLIM AARONS: THE ESSENTIAL COLLECTION // A great coffee table book.
FAIRWYN TABLE LAMP // Love the subtle curves.
GREEN THROW // Give me all the chartreuse.
ITALIAN HONEY BURL WOOD FRAME // Burlwood was my first vintage love.
HENRY DEAN CLEAR HURRICANE // Wondering if this counts as hurricane prep.
SLOPED ARM SLIPCOVER CHAIR // I don’t like to buy new furniture, but I did order several dining chairs from Target and have been really pleased with them. They’re giving Restoration Hardware for a fraction of the price.
